Welcome to Story Gaps and we hope you enjoy helping make entertaining stories.

The way Story Gaps works is very simple, we will explain the general rules.

        Posting to an existing story:

• You can not post two times in a row (makes funny stories this way).
  
• You earn one point per word if the story was not created by you.
• You can keep posting to a story until you reach the story\'s total word limit.

      Creating your own story:

• You require a personal score of at least 20 points to create a story. Gain points by posting to other peoples stories for points.
• You can not use a title that has already been used.
• You can create larger stories as you earn more points.
• You do not get points for adding to your own story.
• You earn bonus points when one of your stories is completed. (larger stories get larger bonuses)
• Give a good starting description in order to help the members know what they should write about.
• Once your story reaches the word limit, you are able to write your own ending to the story.

To earn points faster, we recommend that you get your friends to help add to your stories.

Cursing and vulgar language will lead to a site ban.  Keep it clean and fun!
